About the event

If you work in the hospitality or tourism industry or have a forward-facing position in a service industry, you likely have experienced challenging encounters when dealing with customers at one time or another. How did you cope? If you would like to learn effective ways to "Change the Way You See People and How You Serve Them", help is available!

Register for the interactive and engaging Cultural Competence and Diversity Course hosted by Koren Norton of KN Consulting and learn:

  • how to understand and communicate effectively with people across all cultures
  • about self-awareness
  • how to improve your emotional intelligence by observing how you feel and paying attention to how you behave, especially in challenging situations.
  • many other useful and integral tools required for your line of work

Classes will be held every Tuesday ONLINE from April 25 - May 23, 2023 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Cost is EC$150 per person.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Koren Norton is an author, counselor, trainer and consultant. Over the past 15 years, she has worked with hundreds of persons and numerous organizations in the Caribbean and the United States and, as a result, is comfortable with culturally diverse populations. Koren does excellent work providing motivation, guidance, counseling, managerial support, employee training, and conducting workshops on a variety of topics, which can help employees to function more effectively at work as well as improve the quality of their lives.
